On Friday, April 18, fifteen girls gathered at the church in their pajamas. We made pizzas, polished our fingernails, put on make-up, and fixed our hair. We listened to a story while the pizza baked and then had a feast. Then, we watched a movie and finished stuffing ourselves with popcorn. We played in the gym until parents arrived to take everyone home. We all had a wonderful time!

Saturday morning, the boys had a party. We gathered at the church for snacks and then played in the gym. Next, the boys had a treasure hunt. A treasure was hidden somewhere in the church. The boys were given a decoder and a clue to begin with. The clue led to another clue in a different room. The boys tracked the clues all over the church, from the basement to the second floor - up, down, and all around. Finally, they ended up in the library where they located the treasure. Each boy took home a bag of toys and treats. It was a lot of fun.

A big "thank you" to the adults who helped with the parties, to the parents who brought their kids, and to the kids for participating and bringing friends. The parties were a blast! Look for details on an upcoming trip to Elephant Rocks.
